When registering to utilize the Florida State University (FSU) Mentoring Program, you are agreeing to the following:
A. VALIDITY OF ADVICE The advice, information and opinions expressed by registered FSU Mentors are theirs alone, and do not necessarily reflect the views, opinions or positions of FSU, the FSU Board of Trustees, the FSU Career Center, or any employee thereof. FSU makes no representations as to accuracy, completeness, or validity of such information and will not be responsible for any errors or omissions in such information or any losses arising from its use.
B. CONCERNING BEHAVIOR This mentoring platform includes a mechanism for reporting concerning behavior including any uncomfortable, suspicious or inappropriate communications through the "Contact the Admin" button which will immediately notify Program Administrators. Additional options include emailing FSU Career Center Staff directly at ProfessioNoleMentors@fsu.edu, or utilizing the Report FSU site to share important information regarding incidents or concerning behavior happening in the FSU community.
C.Title IX POLICY: FSU does not discriminate on the basis of sex/gender in education programs and activities, and, as a recipient of Federal financial assistance for education activities, is required by Title IX to ensure that all of its education programs and activities do not discriminate in such a manner. Sexual harassment, which includes acts of sexual violence, is a form of sex discrimination prohibited by Title IX. Some professional mentors are mandated Title IX reporters, and compliance with Title IX states that "all FSU faculty and staff shall report every incident of sexual battery to the Title IX Director (850) 644-6271 and FSU Police (644-1234).
